A traditional stone cottage, Pumpkin Cottage is over 200 years old. It has a well equipped kitchen, and cosy sitting/dining room with nice comfy furniture, both have beamed ceilings. Two nicely furnished bedrooms with access by a central landing to the bathroom.

Nice cotton bed linen, duvets and fluffy white towels are inclusive. Centrally heated. The first log fire is included. Necessities to make a nice pot of tea are provided, and for those who need something a bit stronger after their journey you find a find a nice bottle of "red" awaiting. If you are likely to arrive after the shops have closed, we will be pleased to shop for "essentials" for you, so that you can relax immediately. Please request a provisions list at the time of booking.

You already know the Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Lathkill Dale to name but a few are within easy reach and we are sure you will enjoy these during your stay. You may not be aware though of the following though, which you may find of interest:
